Our team

Who Does the Work

When you call, you're talking to the people who actually go out on the job, not a call center reading from a script. We work on garage doors and openers, and that's the whole focus.

Garage doors only

No side business in windows or siding, no upsell on things that have nothing to do with your door. We don't have a company history to tell you - no founding year, no anniversary to mention, no roster of certifications to list. What we can tell you is what we look at when we price a job: the door type, the spring size and configuration, the track condition, and whether the opener is original to the house or a later replacement.

Mixed original and replaced hardware

A lot of the homes we see around Lebanon were built between 1959 and 1994, with a good share going up around 1977, so we run into a wide mix of hardware - some of it original, some already swapped once. That range matters for pricing.

Why spring pricing varies

A torsion spring job on a door installed in 1978 isn't priced the same as one on a door from a 1990s build, because the drum sizes, shaft lengths, and even the mounting brackets can differ. We'd rather look at it in person, or at minimum get good photos, than guess over the phone and hand you a number we have to walk back later.

Service area

The Areas We Cover

We work out of Lebanon and cover the surrounding area, including Rural Hill (about 11 miles out), Green Hill (13 miles), Watertown (13 miles), Walterhill (17 miles), Alexandria (19 miles), and Bethpage (20 miles). Across this area there are roughly 4,675 households, with about 3,524 of those in owner-occupied houses - meaning most of what we see is residential garage doors on single-family homes, not commercial roll-up doors or multi-unit buildings.

If you're outside this list, call anyway and ask - distance alone isn't always the deciding factor, drive time and scheduling are. But we're not going to tell you we cover a town we haven't named here, because that's not information we actually have.

What to expect

What Happens After You Call

When you reach us at (615) 413-4761, we'll ask a handful of questions: what the door is doing (or not doing), whether it's one door or two, roughly how old the house is, and whether the opener is still working.

  1. Phone quotes for simple repairs

That gets us a rough sense of the job before anyone drives out. Some repairs we can quote close to firm over the phone - a broken spring on a standard double door, a slipped cable, a sensor that's gone bad.

  2. Jobs needing on-site inspection

Other things genuinely cannot be priced sight unseen: bent track that's been bent for a while and may have warped the door skin with it, a panel that's cracked and might take the whole section with it, or an opener that's original to a house built decades ago and may not have a compatible replacement part anymore.

  3. Office pickup for parts

In those cases we give you a range and firm it up once we're looking at the actual door. Our office is at 333 Maddox Simpson Pky, Lebanon, TN 37090, and that's also where any parts we're ordering in get shipped to before a job.

Common jobs

What We Are Called Out For

A two-story house with a beige garage door and stone and siding exterior.

Most calls fall into a short list: broken torsion or extension springs, doors off track, openers that run but don't lift (usually a spring issue, not the opener itself), worn rollers and cables, and panels damaged by a backed-into door or a storm-driven branch. Given the cold moderate climate here, we also see steel doors with rusted-through bottom panels where water sits against the weatherstrip over a winter or two, and openers that start struggling in the cold months when old gear sets finally give out.

We'll also tell you honestly when repair isn't worth it. If a door is from the older end of the 1959-1994 stock and the track, springs, and panels are all failing at once, patching one part is often money spent toward a replacement you'll need in a year anyway. We'd rather say that upfront than keep billing small repairs on a door that's done.

Questions

Common questions

Can you give me a price over the phone?

For common jobs like a broken spring or a bad sensor, we can usually give you a close estimate over the phone based on door size and age. For damage to track, panels, or an older opener, we need to see it before quoting, since the condition varies too much to guess accurately.

Do you work on doors from older homes?

Yes. A lot of houses in this area date from 1959 to 1994, with many built around 1977, so we regularly work on original hardware from that era alongside newer replacements.

How far out do you travel for a job?

We cover Lebanon and nearby areas including Rural Hill, Green Hill, Watertown, Walterhill, Alexandria, and Bethpage. If you're further out, call and ask - we can sometimes work it into a route depending on the day.

What information do you need before I call?

Roughly how old your house is, whether you have one door or two, and what the door is actually doing - won't open, off track, making noise, opener runs but door won't move. That's enough for us to start pricing before we even arrive.
